About Nathan
With over a decade of experience playing in orchestras and over 15 years of experience playing the violin, teaching difficult subjects has become second nature.
Getting good at math is like getting good at violin, you have to practice and practice and practice. There is no secret.
Since trigonometry and up until linear algebra, I have had all A's. That includes the full calculus series.

I like teaching mathematics with more of an emphasis on deeper knowledge and implementation of the subject matter rather than focusing on formulas that lose their efficacy in higher levels of mathematics.
I also think that to become a better mathematician, teaching the subject to others and getting them interested is more important than any individual work.
I tend to focus more on high school and college-level math. This includes Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Trigonometry.
