About Prachi
I am a classical dancer trained in Odissi and in Bharatnatyam. I have also taken a few modern dance classes and am mostly self-taught in that field. I understand the problems faced by new dancers and how to help solve them. I can also help choreograph pieces for school competitions if required.

I always start with a good warm-up and then the basics and check what form of teaching suits the student the best. Accordingly, I proceed with the class. My class focusses on the right form of posture while dancing, confidence and and incorporating a few difficult moves for the piece to look interesting. The practice is a key element when it comes to any form of performing arts. I also take some time from classes to explain about strength and flexibility workouts which are very necessary when it comes to being an all-rounded dancer.
