About Eti
Hi, I'm Eti, an Imperial student studying Earth and Planetary Science (basically physics, maths, geography and chemistry ALL combined!), aspiring for a career in Astrophysics. As a learning enthusiast, this degree was perfect for me as it focuses on a wide range of subject areas, whilst still having a niche to specialise in later in my career path. Personally, I only found my passion in this field in year 13 when searching for uni courses online, so I know how daunting it feels when all your friends know their path but you may still be finding yours. By relating to my students, I am able to match the corresponding revision techniques that I have acquired throughout sixth form to every learning style. I mostly focus on active recall and repetition to embed specific styles of writing and calculations within the student's habits, allowing them to recall these techniques during time-pressured exams without realising.

I strongly believe in engagement during a lesson, where the student and I can comfortably break down each problem into small pieces and solve them using memorable techniques (such as anagrams, rhymes, acronyms) so students can remember the method rather than just memorising the answer to a specific question. The lesson will be 1 hour long, with a 50-50 split between content mastery and exam questions. I will take GCSE and A-level students for Economics.
