About Charles
The reason I love teaching is because it brightens my day to see someone else understand a topic they previously struggled with. What I often see is that students don’t only understand the topic after the lesson but more importantly start discovering a new passion for it. Now if this isn’t satisfaction, I don’t know what is.

The way my tutoring works is through the following way: I first ask the student the issue with which it has had trouble with. If the issue seems to be global, I proceed with a lecture on the topic, followed with questions. On the other hand, if the issue appears to be specific (eg: being stuck on a question), I will solve the problem and then explain the process. In order to make sure that the student understands everything I taught, I will follow up with other questions. Students should never be ashamed of asking questions, I am always patient and glad to see progress.
