About Moloantoa

Hello. My name is Moloantoa Mokoena, and I offer private tutoring in Accounting, Business Studies and Economics for Grade 10–12 learners. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce degree, and have 2 years of tutoring experience, helping students improve their understanding, confidence, and results.

I’m passionate about teaching because I’ve seen how the right explanation can completely change a student’s confidence. I enjoy helping learners move from feeling stuck to actually understanding their work, and that progress is what motivates me.

My approach is focused on clarity and patience. I break down difficult topics into simple, manageable steps and make sure each learner understands before moving forward. I also focus on exam techniques, so students know how to apply what they’ve learned.

I teach in English and create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions freely. Each lesson is practical, structured, and tailored to the learner’s needs.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is simple: make sure the student actually understands the work, not just memorizes it. I focus on breaking down Accounting, Business Studies and Economics topics into small, clear steps that are easy to follow. I’ve found that many learners struggle because things are explained too fast or in a complicated way, so I take the time to explain concepts properly and check understanding before moving on.

What makes me different is that I relate the work to real examples and focus on how questions are asked in tests and exams. This helps students not only understand the content but also improve how they answer questions.

I teach in English and can also assist in a more conversational way if a student needs extra clarity.

A typical lesson includes going over problem areas, explaining key concepts, working through examples together, and then letting the student try questions with guidance. I also help with homework and exam preparation.

My lessons are aimed at Grade 10–12 learners who want to improve their understanding, boost their confidence, and get better results in Accounting, Business Studies and Economics.
