About Alex
Over my 2 years of teaching experience, I have encountered all types of students allowing me to learn exactly how to tailor lessons to your needs. I can provide lots of guidance and support alongside effective teaching as your tutor.
After achieving 4 A*s in my A-levels, I can utilise my experience as both a student and a tutor to help you achieve the best possible grades in the following subjects:
- A-level: Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Psychology
- GCSEs: Maths, English, Triple Science, History, Geography and Music
- Piano: including theory, up to Grade 8 level
- English as a Second Language: I have recently completed a 230-hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) Diploma, so I can tutor English with confidence.

From my experience as a tutor and a student, I recognise the difficulties that people can face with motivation, procrastination as well as content. It is my priority to enable you to reach your goals not only by helping you understand each topic but also by teaching you effective study methods that can excel your learning. My lessons are all based around the student: typically I like to create a long-term plan based on your subjects, goals and challenges, whilst maintaining flexibility. 1 hour lessons are usually ideal for maximum productivity, which can include reviewing difficult topics, practising exam technique and more, depending on your needs.
