About Sriram

Hi! I'm Sriram Kumar, a dedicated educator and UPSC aspirant with a passion for helping young minds master English, Science, and Social Science. My rigorous preparation for civil services has given me a deep, interdisciplinary understanding of History, Geography, and Civics (Social Science) as well as the scientific temperament needed for Class 1-8 Science. Regularly analyzing complex news and essays has refined my English command, allowing me to teach both grammar and creative writing with precision. I believe in making learning fun and simple by relating textbook concepts to real-life examples. My goal is not just to help students score better marks, but to help them develop a genuine love for learning. Outside of my studies, I enjoy reading Biography books and playing guitar, which helps me bring a creative perspective to my lessons.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated educator and UPSC aspirant with a strong command over English, Science, and Social Science for students up to Class 8. My teaching philosophy centers on building a solid foundation through conceptual clarity rather than rote memorization.

Social Science: "As a UPSC aspirant, I have a deep understanding of History, Geography, and Civics. I don't just teach dates; I help students understand the 'why' behind events, making the subject come alive."

Science & English: "My preparation involves daily analysis and scientific reasoning, which allows me to explain school concepts with high clarity and real-world relevance."

My Methodology:
Concept-Based Learning: Focus on clearing basics first before moving to advanced textbook exercises.

Interactive Tools: I use flowcharts, mnemonics, or map-pointing (crucial for Class 6-8 Social Science) to aid memory.

3-2-1 Strategy: Brief checks at the end of each class: 3 takeaways, 2 questions, and 1 thing they enjoyed.

Structures of the class:
0-10 mins: Recap of the previous class and homework review.
10-40 mins: New concept explanation using real-life examples.
40-50 mins: Application activity or solving NCERT/Textbook questions.
50-60 mins: Summary and doubt-clearing session.
