At present, I work with Sophie. Sophie has amazing relationships with students in school. Sophie also has good relationships with SEND students who struggle with daily tasks in a school setting. Her ability to gain trust from students is amazing. Her capability of listening and understanding the needs of the students comes so naturally to Sophie. Getting the students on task and joining in with the task is superb.

I currently work with Sophie. She is a dedicated and hardworking colleague who is passionate about working with children and supporting their development. One of Sophie's particular strengths is her passion for English. She enjoys promoting language, literacy and communication skills, and she inspires children to develop confidence and enjoyment in reading and writing.

She has an incredible gift for discovering what ignites a young person’s curiosity, confidence, and passion, and then using that spark to help them flourish. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, she takes the time to understand each student’s strengths, interests, and challenges, creating learning experiences that feel personal, meaningful, and inspiring.

Her creativity and flair are remarkable; she has a unique talent for making every topic engaging and relevant. She brings energy, imagination, and enthusiasm to her teaching, transforming concepts that students may initially find intimidating into something exciting and accessible.

However, it is her care and compassion that truly set her apart. Sophie cares deeply about every student she works with. She celebrates their successes, supports them through their struggles, and never stops believing in their potential—even when they doubt themselves. Her kindness, patience, and genuine investment in the young people she teaches create an environment where students feel valued, understood, and capable of achieving great things.

As a colleague, I have seen firsthand the extraordinary impact she has on those she teaches. Time and again, I have watched students accomplish things they never believed possible, growing not only in their academic ability but also in their confidence and self-belief. She has a rare ability to inspire students to aim higher, work harder, and ultimately achieve more than they ever thought they could.

Any student fortunate enough to work with Sophie will benefit from not only an outstanding educator but also a mentor, advocate, and champion who genuinely wants the very best for them.
