About Emma
I’ve tutored many times before and I’ve always enjoyed getting to know my students. I graduated high school with a 4.0 average and am now a college sophomore with a 3.9 average.I also worked at a preschool which taught me how to communicate to students younger than me. I was the president of honor society which allowed me to hold lessons and plan fundraisers for students by students. I learned the importance of collaboration and team work. Bringing these characteristics to a tutoring session allows for a relationship between the student and tutor to grow and for the session to be individualized depending on the student.

I’ve always had an interest in math because of the challenge. Many of my peers disliked math because of it, however I found it fun. I hope to introduce students to the fun side of math through my teachings. Math isn’t something students need to see as a chore, but once students understand the role it has in our daily lives and the different ways to find an answer, they to can say “math is fun!”
