About Sarthak

As evident up there somewhere, my name is Sarthak! (Big shocker)

I finished my bachelor's in mathematics (and CS) and will be pursuing mathematics as a master's (Math nerd through and through). Growing up, I've seen a disdain and fear towards mathematics which is very unsettling to me. I aim to build a sufficient enough base in mathematics for students, so that when they decide to not pursue mathematics, it's purely because of a misalignment with their goals, and not because they don't get it, or are scared of math.

About the lesson

The first class is normally the launch-pad for any good tuition sessions, therefore in my sessions it's mostly getting to know each other and developing a workable plan covering the contents. Afterwards, we start with basic topic-wise progressions (more focus on intuition development for a topic) through the course, and doable HW portions.

I love to present topics in ways which are personal to the students, and help them understand what they are doing, instead of rote-memorization and vomiting it on an exam sheet.

I take classes for IGCSE, AS and A levels, IB AAHL Mathematics, and CBSE science mathematics for students.

I would highly recommend this maths teacher because he explains difficult concepts in a clear and simple way. He is very patient and always helps students understand the topic instead of just giving the answer. In class, he encourages me to think and try different methods to solve problems, which makes learning maths more interesting. He also motivates me to work hard and never give up when a problem is difficult. Because of his passion for teaching and his support, he is an excellent teacher.

It is my pleasure to recommend Mr. Sarthak as a mathematics educator! Having been taking classes for about 7 months now, I've learnt a lot. He sets high expectations but remains very supportive and consistent. His teaching methods are both innovative and intellectually stimulating, featuring personalized lessons tailored specifically to each student's needs. I am so glad to be taking his classes and would highly encourage other students to do the same!
