About Brandon

i have several years of experience as an actual teacher, and even more years experience as a tutor. Working one on one or in small groups, I am free to engage the student's needs, strengths, and weaknesses. This way, I can best serve the student for optimal success!

About the lesson

I primarily use the Socratic method to help students learn, whether it be about Latin, Greek, Hebrew, ancient history, or the Bible. Questions help students to learn the material for themselves.

In my language sessions, we look at a passage, and from there we learn the grammar and vocabulary. We learn, ultimately, to gain some speaking proficiency, even in a "dead language."

When reading a text, whether it be Biblical or Classical, we engage the text in its historical context in order to determine the original author's intended message.
