About Thinesh
Hi, I'm Thinesh, a Diploma in Software Engineering graduate with a strong interest in Mathematics, Physics, technology, and problem-solving.
I enjoy helping students understand subjects in a simple and practical way rather than relying only on memorization. My background in software engineering has strengthened my logical thinking and problem-solving skills, which I apply when explaining mathematical and physics concepts.
As a tutor, I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions freely and take their time to understand challenging topics. I am patient, approachable, and committed to helping students improve their understanding and confidence.
My lessons are mainly suitable for secondary school and SPM students studying Mathematics and Physics. I can adapt lessons according to each student's current level, learning pace, and areas that need improvement.

I provide Mathematics and Physics lessons for secondary school and SPM students, with a focus on making difficult topics easier to understand through clear explanations and step-by-step practice.
My teaching approach is simple and student-focused. I first identify the topics the student finds difficult, explain the concepts using easy-to-understand examples, and then guide the student through questions of increasing difficulty. For Mathematics, I focus on understanding formulas, problem-solving techniques, and how to approach exam questions. For Physics, I focus on understanding concepts, formulas, calculations, and applying knowledge to different types of questions.
A typical lesson is around 1 hour, with flexibility depending on the student's level, needs, and attention span. Lessons can include concept explanations, worked examples, practice questions, revision, and exam preparation.
I hold a Diploma in Software Engineering, which has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, logical thinking, problem-solving, and technical subjects. I am particularly interested in helping students build confidence rather than simply memorizing answers.
My lessons are suitable for secondary school and SPM students, especially those who want additional support with Mathematics or Physics, need help understanding difficult topics, or want more practice before examinations.
I am a patient and approachable tutor, and I encourage students to ask questions whenever they are unsure. My goal is to help students understand the "why" behind each solution so they can solve similar questions independently.
