Eli is a phenomenal teacher! I was once his student and ended up successful in my journey of learning the ins and outs of web development, thanks to his methodologies and extensive amount of knowledge on the topic. Including his expertise when it comes to modern day computing. I also worked alongside Eli as a learning assistant. It was great to view his methods in a different perspective and to experience seeing Eli go the extra mile for all of his students!

I had the pleasure of having Eli as my instructor for the Web Development Program at Eleven Fifty Academy. This program covered the basic foundational knowledge needed to transition into a junior development role (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node, Express, React). Not only is Eli very knowledgable on all content area material, but he is also dedicated to the success of his students.

About 4 weeks after my foremost “hello, world”, Eli became my first programming teacher. I learned more from him in a few months than I knew possible! Within about 7 months of studying with Eli, I landed my first job as a Frontend Developer, and I attribute much of my success to the foundation he helped lay. His teaching style was great for me because he is very knowledgeable not only in the “what”, but also the “how” and “why”. On top of all that, he also has a great sense of humor. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get into programming/web development.
