About Justin
I am currently a senior at Boston University studying Cell, Molecular, and Genetic Biology. I am also on the pre-med track and will be applying to medical school in the coming spring. Most of my teaching experience has occurred in conjunction with Boston University. I have been a Teaching Assistant, Tutor, and summer prep course Tutor. All of which have been backed by Boston University. As someone who's worked with a diverse and wide range of students, I understand that every student learns differently. Thus, I personalize my tutoring lessons to best suit the student.

As someone who's worked with many students over the last 4 years, I've developed a good grasp on how to approach tutoring. I've learned how to break down concepts in a digestible manner for students. A big emphasis when I tutor is building up confidence. Many students need a little help to get started and I'm here to provide that support. A typical lesson plan involves communication with the student prior to the meeting. This allows me to get a sense of the student's knowledge of the concepts. The tutoring session will involve helping the student learn and apply the concepts, ending with a plan for the next session. My lessons are mainly geared towards high school students, but will also be open to a younger audience if need be.
