About Heather

Although I am a high school senior, I am very qualified for this position. I use lower level education skills in my everyday school life, for example using lower level math to complete college algebra questions. I am ranked top 10% in my class in school, and I have numerous years of volunteer tutoring under my belt. I also strive to create a fun and exciting learning environment. I want my student to be engaged.

About the lesson

My lessons are very interactive, ranging from small activities to larger projects for higher level education. It’s a hands on learning process with me, and there is personalized attention given to the student(s) being tutored. There are also many visual aspects to my lessons, such as drawings and diagrams representing what needs to be done.

Heather is such an amazing Spanish tutor. She helps with all of my struggles in a college Spanish class. Not only is she good at Spanish, but she is a great student overall. She is so kind, intelligent, and willing to help you fully understand the topics. Heather will try a different approach if the first learning technique doesn’t work. I would fully recommend Heather as a tutor.
