About Anders

I achieved a Grade 9 in my Mathematics GCSE, an A* in my Mathematics A-Level, and completed my first year of University with a First-Class Honours grade average. This practical understanding formed the foundations of my 6 months of tutoring experience when I tutored three students in Year 6, 9 and 11 in a range of topics from simple geometry to complex algebraic methods.

About the lesson

The most important element of my lessons is open communication. I strongly believe that every student is capable of understanding any topic, so long as they have the right teacher to guide them and to help build confidence. My lessons have a flexible structure that minimises wasted time while maximising the value of the session - utilising original worksheets to target very specific problem areas. While I do normally focus on syllabus-related issues, I am willing to address homework, exam prep, or any ad hoc problems if the student desires.

The first free lesson with Anders will allow you to get to know each other and clearly specify your needs for your next lessons.

Details

A-Level lessons will be charged £12/hour and everything below (in terms of difficulty) will be charged £10/hour. Group lessons (3 students) will be discounted to compensate for my attention being spread, however I will endeavour to provide just as much value to each student as if it were a one-on-one lesson. Lesson cancellation should take place at least two days before the scheduled lesson, but I am flexible with regards to extenuating circumstances.
