About Piyush
By day, I work in earth sciences with an IIT background; on the mats, I’ve spent years training in martial arts, functional fitness, and movement.
Because of my analytical background, I hate the "just do it 1,000 times" approach to martial arts. I want you to understand the why - how leverage actually creates power in a strike, why your hips feel stiff during kicks, and how to fix your alignment so you don't beat up your joints.
Training with me isn't just about throwing punches or sweating through a workout.
We cover:
The craft: Clean karate technique, the logic behind the forms, and how moves actually work in real situations.
The engine: Strength, mobility, and agility drills that burn fat and keep you quick on your feet.
The reset: Deep stretching, breathwork, and yoga at the end of sessions so you recover fast, de-stress, and stay pain-free.

My coaching merges an analytical, science-backed approach with traditional karate. I break down every technique through physics and biomechanics, explaining the philosophy and real-world application of each move. Every session integrates functional strength, agility, joint mobility, and mental resilience drills, finishing with restorative yoga and deep stretching for optimal recovery and long-term well-being.
