About Thomas
I have been teaching/tutoring mathematics for 30 years.
I have taught Middle School, High School, and College level.
I have successfully tutored students in HS algebra I & II, Chemistry, and precalculus.
My students have gone on to get their degrees in the sciences, languages and humanities. Many of them have sought me out to tell me how I have helped and prepared them for their college experience.

I am a problem solver who enjoys learning and teaching mathematics. In every level of math I have taught, I have always looked to my students to direct my approach. Some days it is a straight lecture with questioning by me and my students. Other days it is a presentation with class explorations and discovery.
With tutoring students, I find out where there problem is and we work from there. We start with the student explaining what they understand the lesson(s) is about and work from there.
