About Christina

After teaching mostly math, science, and English for 25 years, I retired in 2021. I also have a degree in library and information science, and taught library and computer skills to students from kindergarten through 12th grade. I enjoyed all of the subjects I taught. I miss teaching and working with students. That is the reason I would love to start tutoring again.

About the lesson

During tutoring sessions, expect a relaxed, distraction-free environment. As we work through assignments, we will review concepts, as needed.

I tailor my approach to meet each student at their level and use teaching techniques that work best for them. Students can expect to be actively involved in each session.

When starting from scratch, I use the "I do, we do, you do" teaching method. I help students become more independent learners by asking leading, content-based questions.

I am a calm and patient teacher.

Bentley loves to read! Hopefully, we can find a way to also inspire in him a love of writing.
