About Christopher
Students are not simply numbers or places on a seating chart. I build trust with the student, as many of my former students come back to see me and introduce me to their families. In recent years, I have taught dozens of children of former students. I introduce concepts in ways that students can grasp, and I make sure that I do not go too quickly.

I use different projects and debates to bring in different perspectives and fields of study. My tutoring will involve seeking to discover what the student already understands about a concept, and then building and scaffolding the student's comprehension. I not only teach the student, but I also listen to the student.
