About Suzy
Hi! I'm Suzy (Sue). I am a recent graduate from Kean University, where in addition to being a STEM student, I worked as a student ambassador and executive board member of Biotechnology Club. Currently, I am taking a gap year as I prepare my application for medical school. I'm very passionate about math and science, and I am eager to help you find that passion too!

Learning together. This is my teaching philosophy.
There is a tendency amongst older educators to repeat the same old lesson plans and get stuck teaching things in a very narrow-minded way.
To avoid this, I highly encourage students to inform me of topics they are struggling with ahead of sessions. This way, I can dedicate time to relearning the topic specifically for you. I do not brush up using outdated textbooks, but rather, current videos on YouTube, strategies on TikTok, etc, so that I can best connect with my audience - young students! My ultimate goal is to meet individuals where they are, identify weaknesses, and overcome them to achieve success.
My lessons are best for middle and high school students struggling with pre-algebra, algebra, calculus, and chemistry.
