About Jack
Started giving lessons in my first year of college to GCSE students. Graduated from University of York with a 2:1 in Politics, Philosophy and Economics. English and Mathematics are my main strengths; I have an A* in both at GCSE, and took both subjects at A Level. I taught English abroad in China and Hong Kong and have experience working in primary schools.

I base my lessons initially on questions or queries raised by the student, and then establish strengths and weaknesses and plan lessons around these. The confidence a student gains from their strengths can be used to improve areas of weakness. I am approachable and easy-going. You are much more likely to learn when you are enjoying yourself.
