About Josephine Yunqiao
I went to Brandeis University for college, where I earned my B.S. degree with honors in Biochemistry. I did some undergraduate research during summers and the experience really inspired me to continue my journey in science. I went to The Ohio State University for my PhD degree, where I learned a wide range of analytical techniques and fell in love with them. I think passion about learning is what keeps driving me to progress during school and I am excited to bring that into my career. We will always run into things we don't know or don't understand, from a question on a quiz to a graduate thesis proposal. I want to convince you that you can do it and I will teach you how to.

We would start with talking about goals - current goals and big picture goals. This is important for me to understand your needs and hopefully to get close to you.
A typical lesson starts with going over important concepts, followed by time for questions. Questions are always welcome for both you and me. Then we will focus on problem sets that you find difficult and maybe feedback from quizzes and exams to see what needs to improve.
Instead of constantly talking, I like to do discussion and Q&A to guide to solve the problems. I think this is the key to success in the future, to not only solve the current problem but to have a key to challenges like this.
I am open to science tutoring for all ages. I view it as a way for both of us to learn and explore fun things in science.
