Recent Math and Engineering graduate seeking to assist in physics skill development of high school students and undergraduates

I tutored with Marina for two full years. She was a dedicated tutor who showed up to every meeting early, prepared to start teaching me complicated concepts in a way that was easy for me to understand. I am a visual learner, and from the beginning she caught that. With her, I built the foundation of my study schedule, allowing me to prepare for the difficult courses that I have to take in the future.

Every two weeks I had exams, and Marina ran through past material and practice problems with me until I fully understood each individual concept, no matter how small or complex it was.

If I could recommend one tutor, I would recommend Marina. I have had multiple tutors, and in the classes that I did not tutor with her, I did not do as well. I noticed this firsthand in my test grades, homework assignments, and general class grades.

Not only that, every second that I spent tutoring with her, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend and learning from someone who truly cared about me as an individual. By the end of our time tutoring, I felt confident entering the test setting and was ready to take on any difficult course.

There were nights when I was struggling on homework assignments, and no matter the time, she made sure to provide me with in depth and easy to understand examples similar to what I was struggling with.
