About Blake
I am a recent St Andrews Master of Philosophy, having written a 40,000 word thesis on the development impact of British imperialism in Egypt and Iraq. I also hold a Bachelor of Arts in German with Politics during which I spent a year out in Germany studying and working in diplomatic missions, allowing me to perfect the language. I am passionate about social and educational mobility and have a strong interest in helping people achieve this.

Having taught lessons in both English and German at a variety of levels, I think my broad method has been firstly to place emphasis on finding the enjoyment value of the subject/topic, what interests you about it? And then, secondly, I try and relate the complex topics to the learner, their knowledge and their experiences, so it feels hopefully less daunting.
