Quantitative Finance Graduate with Wall Street Trading Internship Experience | CV & Internship Applications

Eoin was a great help for me. Much better than my teacher at explaining things. Went through exercises and prep material for exams and was really patient. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

Eoin was my maths tutor and he did a brilliant job. I came to him struggling with the topics I’d been avoiding, and he had a knack for spotting exactly where my understanding broke down rather than just re-explaining the same method louder. He’d work through a problem with me, then hand me a similar one and let me have a go, which built my confidence far more than watching someone else solve things.

He was always well prepared, patient when I got stuck on the same thing twice, and happy to adapt when I turned up wanting to cover something different. I’d recommend him to anyone who wants a tutor that actually teaches the thinking behind maths instead of just drilling past papers.

Eoin is genuinely the best maths tutor because he has an incredible ability to make even the most confusing topics feel simple, manageable, and actually interesting. He is patient, encouraging, and never makes you feel embarrassed for not understanding something straight away. Instead, he takes the time to explain things in different ways until they finally click, while also giving you the confidence to work things out independently. What really sets Eoin apart is how supportive and approachable he is—he makes maths feel far less intimidating and somehow turns something that can be incredibly frustrating into something you can actually enjoy. He is knowledgeable, reliable, and genuinely invested in his students’ success, which makes him not just a great tutor, but the best one.

I met Eoin at uni. He has a rare gift for making difficult math feel approachable. He spent hours helping me through stochastic processes and algebra, always with patience and clarity. I couldn’t recommend him more highly as someone sharp and generous

Eoin helped me with algebra. He’s really approachable and never minds explaining the same thing a few times until I understand. Made algebra way less confusing tbh. Would recommend him to anyone who needs a hand with it!

The best teacher I ever had, Eoin really saved my life, without him I wouldn't even be here. Thanks for being here when no one was

Eoin was extremely helpful in my job application process, helping me secure multiple job offers and final round interviews. He really went above and beyond, traveling in person to my house in Wandsworth to deliver in-person mock interviews. I would recommend Eoin to anyone looking to excel and reach the next stages of their career. Could not fault his professionalism and dedication to his students.

Eoin really helped with my applications. He has real experience in the finance world in London and a bit contact book. I couldn’t recommend Eoin highly enough for finance career advice.

Eoin helped me a lot with maths and I would definitely recommend him. He’s really good at explaining things in a simple way and is very patient if you don’t understand something the first time. He always made sure I actually understood the topic before moving on rather than just showing me the answer.

He’s also really friendly and easy to talk to, which made the lessons much less stressful and made it easy to ask questions. I became a lot more confident with maths after working with him and noticed a real improvement. He’s reliable, knowledgeable and genuinely cares about helping you improve. Would definitely recommend Eoin to anyone looking for a maths tutor!
