About Jemma
I have recently qualified as a secondary science teacher with a Chemistry specialization. Although the teaching profession wasn't for me, and I now work in a different industry, I haven't lost my passion for science or for teaching!
I have many years of experience working with children and young people, both in a teaching/tutoring and extracurricular capacity. I look forward to continuing to use my skills and knowledge to educate the next generation.

I have a Post Graduate Certificate of Education: Secondary Science, with Qualified Teachers Status, and a Master's degree in chemistry. I am, therefore, up-to-date with the latest exam requirements and teaching methods.
My teaching methodology is tailored to each student's individual needs, and I use a variety of techniques to make learning fun and engaging. I provide detailed and personalized feedback, and I create lesson plans that are specifically designed to help students achieve their goals.
I offer one-on-one tuition, and I can work with students studying KS3 and GCSE science and A-level Chemistry. My lessons are typically one hour in length, but I am flexible and can adjust the lesson length to suit the student's needs.
