About Julius
I offer relaxed, friendly lessons tailored to your level and interests, with a focus on building confidence through natural conversation.
I am a TEFL-certified English teacher, qualified solicitor (practiced in New Zealand for 3 years), and current Master's student with an international academic and professional background. Having lived, studied and worked in Germany, Austria, New Zealand and Ireland, I have experience communicating with people from a wide range of cultures and backgrounds.
I also have experience tutoring university students and giving educational presentations, which has taught me how to explain ideas clearly and adapt my approach to different people and learning styles.
My aim is not just to help you improve your English, but to help you feel confident using it. Whether you want to become more comfortable speaking, improve your vocabulary and grammar, or simply have someone to practice English with, I will create a relaxed and supportive environment where you can learn without worrying about making mistakes.

I believe the best way to improve your English is to actually use it, so my lessons are relaxed, conversational and tailored to your interests.
I like to focus on light, natural discussions rather than traditional classroom-style lessons. We can talk about everyday life, travel, current topics, hobbies, culture, films, sport, or anything else that interests you. Along the way, I can help you improve your vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and confidence in a natural way, while correcting mistakes when useful.
If you enjoy reading, I can also recommend books suited to your level and interests. We can then use the book as a starting point for our lessons, discussing the characters, ideas and topics it raises while developing your English at the same time.
Each lesson is 30 minutes to one hour, giving us enough time for a relaxed conversation while still making meaningful progress.
I have experience tutoring students at university and have also given public educational presentations. I am a TEFL Level 3 certified English teacher, a qualified solicitor, and have studied and worked in several different countries. I speak English and German fluently and have experience communicating with people from many different backgrounds.
My lessons are suitable for all ages and all English levels, from beginners looking to build confidence in everyday conversation to advanced learners who want to become more natural and fluent.
Most importantly, I want lessons to feel like an enjoyable conversation rather than a chore. We will work at your pace and focus on the areas that are most useful to you.
