About Nadia
I am a **qualified teacher with a PGCE**, giving me a strong understanding of the curriculum, teaching methods, assessment, and how to support students effectively at different stages of their education. I am also a **qualified doctor** with two degrees in **Medicine and Biological Science**.
I have **5 years of tutoring experience in Science**, teaching students from **KS2 through to Master’s level**. I have experience supporting students across a wide range of abilities, adapting my teaching style to suit each student’s individual needs, learning style, and academic goals.
My background in both **formal teacher training and medicine** allows me to bring strong subject knowledge alongside effective teaching practice. I am familiar with the school curriculum and understand how teachers deliver and assess Science, allowing me to help students develop both their understanding and exam technique.
I can support students with **KS2, KS3, GCSE, A-Level, undergraduate and Master’s-level Science**, including Biology and related scientific subjects. My lessons focus on making challenging concepts clear and understandable, building confidence, and helping students develop the skills they need to succeed academically.

My lessons are structured around the relevant national exam board curriculum, ensuring that teaching is targeted towards the knowledge and skills students need to succeed. I begin with clear teacher exposition to introduce and explain key concepts, breaking down challenging topics into manageable steps.
Students are encouraged to actively participate throughout the lesson, with opportunities to ask questions and check their understanding. We will work through examples together before students apply their knowledge independently through carefully selected questions and exam-style tasks.
Lessons can be adapted to each student’s individual needs, whether they require support with a particular topic, want to consolidate their understanding, or are preparing for upcoming examinations. I will provide tailored resources, practice questions and revision materials to support continued learning outside of lessons.
My aim is to build both subject knowledge and confidence, while helping students develop the independent learning and exam skills they need to make sustained progress.
