I teach Primary-level English (Phonics, Reading Comprehension, Spelling, and Grammar), Maths, and test prep for the 11+ and SATS in the UK to children aged 4 to 12. I have experience working with children with Special Needs (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Autism, Pathological Demand Avoidance, ADHD, and students for whom English is not their first language).
Lessons are usually one hour long, but depending on your child's age and needs, they can last 30, 45, or 60 minutes. I teach Monday to Friday (between 8:00 am to 7:00 pm) or on Saturday morning. I have lessons both online, or in-person if students live close to me in South West London.
I also work with students outside the UK, I have experience teaching both English and Spanish as a second language. I have worked with students from the U.S., South America, and Asia.
My lessons usually include targeted learning games, I believe lessons should be engaging and enjoyable, but also productive.
Homework is optional and sent upon request, but it is always recommended, especially for students prepping for the 11+ or the SATS.
An initial assessment is required to determine current levels and individual requirements in order to set the child's goals and provide a plan of action.

Perfect! If you choose Ana as your tutor you will have made an excellent choice. We have been using Ana for three months and our child has come on leaps and bounds. Ana is extremely knowledgeable, she made sure that she was utilising the same syllabus and resources as the school. Ana is very patient and has formed a great bond with our son, this means that he is always looking forward to lessons - obviously this is highly conducive to a good learning experience which in turn had led to a very productive outcome. We cannot speak highly enough of Ana!
