About Stephen
I'm a Chemistry PhD candidate with 6+ years applied organic chemistry experience and 2 years as a university demonstrator, running undergraduate lab sessions and marking assessments.
My lessons focus on two tings:
(1) Building a secure understanding of the syllabus and what students are expected to know for examinations.
(2) Exam technique, how to structure answers to hit the mark scheme and pick up full marks.
I currently tutor GCSE & A-Level Chemistry but also GCSE Maths and GCSE Biology. I teach online and in person around the Hertfordshire area.

First-class Masters in Chemistry with Drug Discovery (University of Sussex, 2019)
Current PhD candidate in Chemistry at the University of St. Andrews (Expected graduation in 2026)
