About Isabelle
My name is Isabelle, I am a qualified hairdresser based in Melbourne, who is passionate about teaching and creating a new generation of stylists, who feel supported, confident and knowledgeable when they step into the salon. The hairdressing industry has so many gaps in the education system, many apprentices and new stylists feel anxious and unsure when they stand behind the chair. During my own apprenticeship, I was lucky enough to have people who trained and supported me, beyond the required education, but I realized how many didn’t get that opportunity. So I am here to fill those gaps in the industry and give new stylists the knowledge and support that is truly needed to excel in this career. I believe that so many people love this job, but just weren’t given the opportunity and help they needed, I want to help young people follow their passions, instead of falling into the anxiety that is often felt in this job.

I can teach you all the color theory and techniques you will ever need, in depth, and in a way that makes sense. Tafe units can be confusing and there’s a lot of things that aren’t covered before you get on the salon floor, extra 1 on 1 support personally helped me flourish in the industry! As I still work in salon behind the chair I am always up to date on trends and modern techniques, which is often missed in your apprenticeship or studies. I have successfully trained apprentices of all ages and am passionate about creating a new generation of stylists who feel confident and supported. I am a color specialist, but I do haircuts and styling daily as well, which I have a few tricks up my sleeve for too! I offer online lessons, based on theory and techniques including tafe units and modernized and trending colors and techniques. This is your opportunity to stand out and excel in your career with further knowledge than what’s covered in the tafe curriculum, whether you’re an apprentice or newly qualified stylist, I am here to educate and support you!
