I have taught the QCAA economics syllabus for more than 10 years to students at Brisbane Girls Grammar School and other top Brisbane private schools. My students have regularly achieved "A" standard results with top students achieving 100% each year. I have also been coordinator of evening study at BGGS and sat on the board of the Queensland Economics Teachers Association.
My sessions aim to assist students across all levels. I am a teacher that is able to simplify concepts into plain English by relating what students already do well or what they are interested in with their economics studies. During my career I have worked across the board, whether it's helping students to find pass marks or to maximise their learning to the point they never lose marks during assessment. I am passionate about economics and have enjoyed real world experience working in investment banks, recruitment, accounting and sports management prior to teaching.
I can help students in high school or first year university. I can assist with problem areas, provide help with assignments, exam preparation for both internal and external exams, better understand the QCAA syllabus or provide preparation for the cross over to University. I have over 10 years of resources at my finger tips.
