About Rahil
Hello! I am currently working on my master's at NYU. I have an immense passion for helping students excel in math, science, and English. Having had a very solid academic foundation coupled with a commitment to personalized learning is how I come in to make seemingly indigestive subjects friendly and quite interesting. I have been tutoring for the last 4 years and have gained enough experience in providing a very unique teaching/learning experience.
It be mastering complex math, understanding scientific principles, or improving one's English skills-I am here to guide you through each step. I am very patient, supportive, and tailor my teaching approach to each student's unique learning style. Based in New York, I look forward to working with students of all skill levels and helping them reach their full potential.

I tend to hold very interactive sessions in order to crack the comfort level first before I get into the tutoring part. I feel it is absolutely important to build a smooth communication line before practicing the " teaching " part.
For any chapter/ topic I break it down into 4 phases - The teaching part, the practice part, the testing part and something I call "beyond syllabus". This not only makes the kid confident about what he/she has learnt but also nurtures the very essential curiosity a kid should have.
I tutor kids from elementary school level up to the high school level. I have been doing this through Superprof for over 4 years now (Initially from India) and have received some very promising reviews from parents.
