About Asia
My name is Asia Perusier. I am an 18-year-old college senior who currently holds an associate's degree in liberal arts and sciences. I am a psychology major who is also on the premed track. I was homeschooled beginning when I was 11, accepted into college at 12, and began taking classes at 13. I have taken and passed English 101, 102, and 200. Additionally, I have been a teacher at a Sunday school for church, so I have experience in helping children of various ages learn to read and write.

Students learning to read will be expected to read both aloud, during tutoring and on their own at home before or after tutoring. When a chapter of a book is read at home students will either be questioned when they come to class or expected to have prepared a paragraph on what the chapter was about. Depending on the student's age and reading/writing level they may be required to write an essay or review of a book once they are finished reading it.
Students learning writing will be taught a variety of styles including creative writing, short stories, and essay writing. A writing process will be taught differently for each type of writing as it is dependent on the style.
For students who wish to begin learning college level writing, MLA and APA formatting will be taught and utilized. All essays will be proofread and the student will then be expected to make a copy of the essay with the corrections so that the two can be compared.

Details
Hourly rate is 20, however, if more than one child for a household needs tutoring I will offer a discount. First child is the usual rate, second child half priced. For people with 3 or more kids 50$ will be charged for EVERY child to have an hour of tutoring NOT 50$ an hour PER child .
If two children in a family are in the same grade and can both be tutored at once then I will only charge for one child.
