I'm a professional Yorùbá Tutor and Linguist. And, as a professional Yorùbá tutor, native speaker, and linguist, I’ve always been captivated by the rhythm, proverbs, and sheer beauty of the Yoruba language. For me, teaching isn’t just about reciting rules from a textbook; it’s about sharing a vibrant culture and helping you find your own voice in a beautiful new language.
My teaching approach is completely beginner-friendly, highly interactive, easy to follow, and custom-made to fit your unique learning style and goals.
I hold a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Ilorin, where I graduated as a notable Best Student in the Department of Linguistics and Nigerian Languages. This formal background gives me a profound, structural understanding of how languages work, allowing me to break down complex grammatical concepts into simple, digestible pieces.
With years of hands-on experience teaching Yoruba and English in classroom settings, as well as working as a freelance English-Yoruba translator, I have interacted with diverse learners of various age groups and backgrounds. My professional background also includes working as a Grammaticality Rater for Nigerian languages, ensuring that the language skills I pass on are highly accurate and culturally authentic
