About Princess
I hold a Bsc. In Microbiology from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. A Post Graduate Diploma in Education and a Diploma in Early Childhood Education. I have taught children for 6 years now both within and outside the structured school setting. I have taught in 3 schools and privately, I have taught over ten children.
A large percentage of children who have passed through me have shown notable improvements in their academics, attitudes and skills. As I employ various methods to suite the child's learning style and personality. I hope to continue impacting children positively with every opportunity I get.
For me, teaching isn't just a job, it is a lifestyle and a hobby.

My name is Princess Okoro, I am a child friendly female teacher who works with children and live in Lagos Nigeria.
I base my lessons on the child's school curriculum or learning expectations. I do this to help the child get a firmer grasp and mastery of concepts being taught in class for improved academic performance.
I approach every topic by first finding out what ideas the child already has about it. Subsequently, I go on to give deeper explanations and help the child find out more on their own. I do this by employing various approaches depending on which is most suited for the concept at hand. Such methods include role play, enquiry, research and discussion methods.
Subsequently, I proceed to assess the depth of understanding by giving tasks and asking questions.
The duration of learning however, depends on my client and the kind of arrangement we have. It varies with different clients.
