About Ilirijan
I am a professional, full-time private tutor based in central London specializing in Economics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Macroeconomics, and Microeconomics.
After tutoring throughout my years at university I have acquired 4 years’ experience in mathematics all the way from KS2 level up to A levels and in economics from GCSE level up to degree level.
I have an undergraduate degree from the University of Warwick in BSc Economics and am currently pursuing a master’s in economics at the University of Cambridge.

I am a big advocate for tutoring online as I think this has better convenience for both parties. My teaching style varies, initially I like to approach tutoring by assuming the learner has no existing knowledge and explaining things from first principles, after I have an idea of the level the student is I figure out what learning style they are best suited to and ensure that they can gain the most from our sessions.
Up to A levels, there are two main components I focus on to ensure the desired grade for the learner. First, we must ensure the content of the syllabus is clear and well understood this is done through testing with me constantly asking the student to explain a concept. Once we have mastered content that’s when we move on to the exam technique. With my prior experience and my preparation through reading in detail through examiner reports and looking through past papers, I will ensure the student knows exactly what the examiner is looking for in his answers to help maximize their grade.
