About Sophie
I achieved first-class honours in BSc Economics and a MSc in International Public Policy from UCL
Experience of tutoring students at GCSE level mathematics as well as A-level economics students.
I currently work as a professional economist, with a specialism in international and macro economics.

My teaching methodology is online.
I will start by an introductory meeting with my student to outline what they would like to achieve from the tutoring, with timescales and an end result in mind. I will then take time away from this initial meeting to draft up an outline of topics to cover over my time as tutor, which I relay to the student in the next meeting which we can edit together to suit the needs of the student. The third meeting will be the beginning of our tutoring programme.
I will use a range of online resources, recommended readings, problem sets and statistical software training to best equip my student to achieve their desired end result.
