About George

I am a part-time tutor with years of experience helping students between elementary school through the undergraduate/collegiate-level to understand everything needed to build a foundation upon which they can start to apply their knowledge and approach more difficult subjects. I have a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a master's degree in Nanotechnology and I have a strong grasp of concepts in math and chemistry that get applied in the field of Nanotechnology. I like to stay informed about recent developments in STEM fields and I consider myself extremely proficient in mathematics.

About the lesson

I use a method that will instill knowledge through repeated presentation of concepts. That means that you will learn quickly, by completing problems that build upon each other and encourage you to recall what you have learned every step of the way!

I have sent my 2 children to George for math tutoring for over 2 years now and can’t say enough good things about him. They have consistently been staying on top of their math understanding and scores in class. We have to “fight out” who gets George because they both want him. He is reliable, consistent, a positive role model, excellent at math and explaining math to them. Thank you so much George we are so grateful for your help with math all these years!

I had a really great experience with George. He explain things in a way that’s easy to understand and are always patient when I don’t get something right away. He takes the time to break down difficult topics and make sure I actually understand before moving on. I’ve noticed a big improvement when working with him. He’s makes learning feel less stressful. I would definitely recommend George to anyone who needs extra help!
