About Caroline
I currently teach various levels of chemistry courses at a local university (in person and online) and have had the opportunity to teach at UTK (Gen Chem II) a few years ago.
There are patterns and rules to everything; tricks will only get you so far. Proper fundamentals will always give you a good starting point for success.
Problem solving is not about being 100% confident that you are correct...it's about using logic to increase the probability of success. There are systemic tools that are available to help you reach this point in your studies. I believe I can help you with this.

I believe fundamentals are key to building a proper base for success in any STEM course. Knowledge must be built systematically. I am not opposed to creating custom content for individual students based on their specific needs and providing real time feedback. Adequate problem solving skills must be developed through routine practice. My general approach is to evaluate the students needs regularly and adapt the lessons based on their strengths and weaknesses. I prefer in person sessions as it will allow me to assess student need directly.
