About Tracy
Hi!
My name is Tracy and I have been a primary school teacher for over seventeen years, both in the UK and abroad. My most recent experience has been as a Year 6 teacher for the last four years, so I would say one of my specialisms is in preparation for SATS and secondary transitioning. However, having taught children from the age of 3 up to 18 years old, I am happy working with any age range in any subject.
In terms of tutoring, I have worked with :
*children preparing for end of year exams in both primary and early secondary settings
*children with anxiety in a particular subject
*children where English is not the first language spoken by them or their family
*children who needed help completing homework tasks

I tailor every tutoring session to what the child needs. Making them fun, hands on and exciting is one route; preparing to be focused for an exam setting is another. Whatever is required will be met to the highest standard.
Sessions can be online or in person (happy to travel anywhere in Hertfordshire or London). For peace of mind too, I am fully DBS checked. I will provide resources where necessary and give regular feedback to inform of progress. Furthermore, I am available during the day for home schooling support.
*June 2024- I am available during the summer break for any of your tutoring needs, including Saturdays.
