About Sharon
Hi! I’m Sharon — a native English speaker living in Toronto. I moved to Canada from Hong Kong when I was young, so I understand how it feels to learn English and adjust to a new culture. I studied at the University of Toronto and graduated with a double major in East Asian Studies and Political Science. I speak Cantonese, Mandarin, and Korean, and I’m also learning Japanese and Spanish, so I know what it’s like to learn languages from scratch! My sessions are casual and friendly. We can talk about everyday topics like food, culture, travel, or anything you’re interested in. My goal is to help you feel more confident and speak English more naturally — no pressure, just good conversation :)
