About Sahee
Hi I'm Sahee, I'm a first-year PPE student at University of Birmingham. I have just completed my A-levels in Geography, Economics and Chemistry, which I have achieved A*AA in. Additionally, at GCSE level I have achieved grades 7-9 across all GCSEs. I have been tutoring SATS/11+ for 2 years now at my local tutoring centre, in which I quickly discovered my passion for teaching. After Uni, I aim to go on to do a law conversion into Corporate Law in which my background in Economics and Politics will aid my work.

My approach to tutoring is firstly to establish what type of learner the student is, having a background of teaching students with learning difficulties, the first few lessons are aimed to target what works best for the student and how they engage/approach learning. Initially, I always start with approaching work together, then observing independent work to see how they get along. Some of my teaching methods often involve having them explain ideas to me to ensure understanding, flashcards/other revision sources and challenging questions to break down understanding and cognitive thinking. Lessons are usually anywhere from 1-2 hours. I have achieved A*AA in Geography, Economics and Chemistry A-level which has prepared me to teach these subjects and GCSE/A-level. Additionally, I have been a tutor in Maths/English for the past 2 years at a SAT/11+ agency where I have worked with students aged 3-11. This has additionally equipped me to tutor in these subjects at 11+/SAT level.
