In these lessons, I’ll teach you the same foundations my piano instructor taught me in a way that worked with how my brain naturally learned.
When I was younger, I struggled with the staff, music theory, and all the jargon. I just couldn’t seem to grasp it the way it was being explained to me.
Instead, I learned how to play by ear. I learned the foundations, the patterns, and the progressions. Once those started to make sense, I found that I could pick up songs and figure them out within a few minutes.
That’s the approach I’d like to pass on to you — learning the foundations first, understanding how everything fits together, and finding a way of learning that actually makes sense to your brain.
