About Joe
I have a Masters in physics from the University of Manchester and am currently in the final year of my PhD in material physics.
During my PhD study I have been teaching weekly tutorials to first year physics undergraduate students.
I also have experience privately tutoring A level Physics and Maths.

I tailor how I teach to the individual I am teaching. This will be based upon: the students desired outcome, the students current understanding, target grade, enthusiasm level ( I appreciate not everyone loves physics as much as me ;) some people just need to pass their exams) etc.
Understanding the content of the syllabus is only half the battle most of the time when sitting maths and physics exams. You can have great theoretical understanding and still not perform as well as you hoped due to poor exam technique. I will teach you how to go about solving exam problems in a way which will not only help your maths and physics results, but which will be applicable to any science exam you sit for the rest of your life.
