About Madeline
My fascination with physics started with observing natural phenomena and wondering about the forces governing them. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Physics and an M.Sc in Theoretical Physics, providing both practical and theoretical expertise. Over 7 years, I have taught students of various levels, guiding them to develop conceptual clarity, problem-solving skills, and analytical thinking.
I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, emphasising understanding over rote memorisation. My lessons integrate stepwise explanations, visual demonstrations, and real-life applications, creating an engaging environment where students feel supported and encouraged to ask questions and explore ideas.
Outside teaching, I remain actively engaged with contemporary physics research, simulations, and applied experiments, which enrich my lessons and provide students with up-to-date insights. Seeing learners develop confidence, analytical skills, and a deeper appreciation for physics is immensely rewarding, motivating me to continually refine my teaching methods.

Physics is the language of the universe, and my lessons aim to make it accessible, engaging, and intellectually stimulating. Students explore mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, and quantum phenomena through interactive explanations, real-life examples, and illustrative experiments. I emphasise understanding concepts deeply rather than memorising equations, fostering critical thinking and analytical reasoning. By connecting principles to everyday life, students develop both competence and curiosity, learning to appreciate the elegance and applicability of physical laws.
I customise lessons for each student’s level. Beginners receive guidance on foundational laws, simple problem-solving techniques, and visual demonstrations to build confidence. Intermediate learners delve into multi-step derivations, experiment interpretation, and complex problem-solving strategies, reinforcing conceptual mastery. Advanced learners explore advanced theoretical models, laboratory simulations, and analytical reasoning to prepare for exams, competitions, or research opportunities. Each session includes guided practice, interactive questioning, and problem-solving exercises to ensure students internalise principles and apply them independently.
Beyond technical skills, physics lessons cultivate logical thinking, observation, and problem-solving strategies applicable across disciplines. Students learn to reason methodically, hypothesise, and test solutions in a structured manner.
