About Jameel
My experience involves two masters within chemistry, biological chemistry, physical chemistry, and then a PhD in material science with a focus in physical chemistry. From an A Level perspective I have experience with AQA and Edexecel.
I have been teaching for close to 13 years in different scenarios for different ages. During this time, I have helped many students achieve their goals by making sure I understood where they were at. My aim is also to take your studies efficient.
A typical lesson will entail reviewing the content that you may be struggling with, or something that we covered in a previous lesson before moving onto the next area. We will then workshop and spend our time making sure the concepts are truly understood and that you’re confident with them. This workshopping will typically include exam question breakdown and the topics relating to the question.
My teaching style revolves around problem-solving with you. I will aim to understand your ways of learning and the areas in where you’re struggling, then together we will work through those problems.
I focus my tutoring around exam preparation and making sure that on the day you will feel confident to answer those questions. There are opportunities to explore wider knowledge around each topic but the priority will be making sure that you do your best on the day.

My teaching method is to break down the problems together and find applicable solutions. My goal is to find easy approaches to concepts that are difficult to understand. In general, I keep an informal, more friendly approach as I was once in your shoes!
