About Adam
I'm a PhD researcher in nuclear science at the University of Manchester, with a master's in physics behind me. I've been tutoring for over four years. I started in person at a tuition centre during my undergrad and have carried on online throughout my master's and PhD. Alongside my teaching experience, my research background means I've spent plenty of time implementing the concepts we'll come across in our lessons in practice, not just in textbooks. I will draw on this to give you a better appreciation of why the topics you study really matter and what they contribute to real-world science and engineering.

- Typically 1-hour sessions but happy to do longer slots depending on your situation
- Lessons will feature a mixture of recap and teaching of specific topics, broken down guides of how to approach specific problem types and chances for you to try problems independently
- Every session will end with some suggestions of what you should study independently until the next session
- We can discuss note-taking and revision techniques as you approach your exams
