About Mohamed
My name is Mohamed, and I'm passionate about helping students succeed. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Computer Engineering and went on to complete a Master's in Computer Science at the University of Oklahoma with a perfect 4.0 GPA. During my graduate studies, I published a first-author research paper and developed a strong foundation in both theoretical and applied aspects of computer science. I will be starting my PhD in Computer Science at Virginia Tech in Fall 2025. My academic background has given me deep expertise in mathematics, from algebra and geometry to advanced calculus and linear algebra, as well as extensive experience in programming with Java, Python, C++, and C. As a tutor, my approach is focused on clarity, patience, and adaptability. I believe that true understanding comes from working through real-world examples, not just memorizing formulas. In our sessions, I will first walk you through the theory behind each concept in a way that’s intuitive and easy to grasp, then reinforce your learning with hands-on practice. I tailor my problem sets to your current level and goals, gradually increasing difficulty so you are prepared for any challenge, whether it's a classroom quiz or a major exam.
